sound card issues since upgrade

I have a toshiba satellite P105-S9722,it came with xp professonal,with upgrade to vista. It says it has conexant as sound ,My problem is that there is no way to change settings. it also says no jack information in properties menu.. can someone please help..

Did you install the drivers from Toshiba site.
