I need advice with regards to a sound card for my PC that has Win10. I got a 5.1 surround system that I use via S/PDIF. On my Win7 PC I use a Sound Blaster Z, but I have read that it is not compatible with Win10. I am only going to use the card for movies, TV-series and music. So how well this card does with games doesn't matter at all. I would prefer that the card be internal, but as long as it does the job without delay, I am good with it. Budget wise I am flexible. But I would rather go for bang for buck, than pay $50-100 extra to get like 5-10% better sound.

My motherboard on the Win10 PC is an MSI x99a GODLIKE GAMING. It has S/PDIF that technically supports 5.1 easily, but they have not payed for the Dolby, so it is locked to 2.0.

Solution
I have the Sound Blaster Z and it works just fine on Windows 10.
The only thing I have disabled is SBX Pro Audio, since it sounds weird on Chrome while playing audio.
