Sound from Creative Rage USB V2?

Hello,

After following reviews I purchased a Sound Blaster Rage V2 USB headset.

I liked the fact that it has a seperate audio cable for use on a cell phone or other device.

However, using the provided 4 pin cable I can only get sound out of the left speaker.

Would I get sound out of both sides if I were to use a normal audio cable?

Sorry, found I didn't have the cable pushed all the way in on the headset
