I used to run win 7 on my Samsung NP550 P5C and everything was fine. Last year I upgraded to win 10 and a couple of month after all audio stopped working. I thought the issue was windows 10,but after going back to 7, the problem remains the same. I tried all driver related solution, twitching the device manager, adding legacy hardware... nothing works. Anyway it used to work... why should it be different??
So I think the issue is hardware related. But how to check that? Where id's the sound card on the Np550? Is it worth looking for spares?..
