Question Sound TV / amplifier

I recently purchased a Sony KE 65 XH 9005 TV. I connected it to a BC Acoustique EX 202 amplifier plugged into two speakers, with an optical digital audio cable. How can I change the volume of the television directly with the corresponding remote control, and no longer by intervening on the amplifier, which is quite annoying? I can't find the correct setting, yet the PCM setting seems interesting to me.

seems like toslink or optical wont help in this situation, have you use HDMI instead? cuz HDMI have CEC thats allow the device interact (simulate button-pressing) and communicate with each other...

edit : sorry, seems like that amplifier doesnt have CEC,PWM seems like a solution, like ARC,but it do work on few devices that support the feature itself

HDMI does not exist on this amplifier.

I don't understand why I can't just adjust the sound of the amplifier and then vary the sound of the TV with my remote. Can I with PWM ?
