external speaker does Not work...sound works with headphones only.

Does the speaker(s) plug in using the same 3.5mm jack? Or is it connecting via Bluetooth? Also, is it a single speaker or two speakers? and finally have you tested the speaker(s) on another device to make sure that the speaker(s) are the problem?
