Soundbar connection issue

I have a cable box, tcl roku tv, and turcom/zalman soundbar. What is best connection sequence? Soundbar has cd, coax, and optical inputs.

The TCL TV seems to have headphone out only so I would use the digital audio out from the cable box to the soundbar for cable and the headphone out from the TV to the analog or CD input on the soundbar for Roku. You could skip the digital audio out connection but it might sound better than the headphone out of the TV. Try it and listen.
