Soundbar to TV

Hi,
I'm trying to connect a Goodmans Soundbar to an LG 32CS460. I've got an RCA with red and white at one end but when I connect that up - red and white into the back of the TV it doesn't work. Do I need to buy a double ended RCA cable?

If it only has the red and white at one end what are you connecting on the other side?
