Hello there i just orderred SoundBlasterX AE-5... My motherboard Z270x Gaming 9 shows that it use Creative ZxRi.. Is it true ??? And my motherboard Audio is going to be better than SoundblasterX AE-5 ????
Please help me...
Sorry for bad english... :)

Solution
yes that board has some pretty good integrated sound with SBX and all the other SB support so I would say give it a try once you are all setup and if you are satisfied with it, return the AE5 will save you some $$

I'll not get any advantage from SoundblasterX ?????

Well the biggest difference is the AE5 will do 32-bit 384kHz playback with a 122dB DNR, where the on-board is only rated for 24-bit 192kHz playback with a 120dB DNR so it is better in that respect.

Than you so much for the answer... But I use Edifier 2730DB it seems onboard audio is not delivering required sound....

hmm the Edifier 2730DB does have optical input, I would use the on-board SPDIF optcal output, connect it to the Edifier and see if it improves.

By the way i tried with SPDIF... sometimes sound gets glitchy .. 🙁
