Soundsticks II vs Microlab FC-530

Hello guys! I need a new pc speakers and im wondering.. i can get second hand Harman Kardon soundsticks II for 75 eur or a brand new microlab fc-530 for 60 eur.. do you have any idea which one is better in terms of sound quality?

Actually i can get the Edifier.. they r priced the same as the microlabs - at around 60 eur here.. thanks for the advice, i ll take a look at those edifier speakers

If you can afford it, look around for the Edifier C2!

According to the specification the power in RMS is lower then the 3300 model.. so i think im going for the 3300

Got them. First impressions: Highs are crisp and clear - great, mids are well.. ok, but the bass.. bass is a fail Not punchy at all, cant get low.. overall - could be better. Thanks anyway.

On the second thought.. its bass its just enough its not as kicky as my Altec Lansing v2521, but it's still pretty good. So - recommended set of small 2.1 speakers on the budget

Damn, sorry to hear about that, sometimes you can get a better bass if you move it to the corner or equalize it. I have a 12 inch subwoofer in my room and the bass is low where I am sitting but the bass is REALLY overpowering if I stand over near my door. Anyway if it's bass you're after look around for a used Z 2300 by Logitech or a new Z 523.

Nah, not at all. I was looking for a good balanced speakers for the money, and i must say edifier are good for the price. I was just expecting them to be better at everything, compared to my 30 eur cheaper altec lansing When u set your expectations too high you always feel kinda disappointed later. Anyway as i said before, i can easily recommend those speakers as they do the job and i believe they r worth the money paid.
