Space Available with big new drive

Just put a 250gb drive in a 5040. Patch showed all info on the target
correctly when I ran the patch software.

When I go to the Replay Guide the available space shows about 12 hours
at high quality, but it should be much more.

With an upgraded drive, is it usual that the space available shows as
what was available with the old 40gb drive? Any workarounds or did I
do something wrong?

If you don't patch the drive. In the w2k version of RTVpatch, you
click "patch target drive" after making the copy. The Linux version
has a similar option.

You didn't patch the drive.
