I have a marshall combo amp that has a speaker out jack rated at 16 ohms. I want to plug it into a speaker cab 4x12 that has two 8 ohm inputs. How can i do this? Thank you. I wanna rock!

Solution
To get 16ohms, you would have to wire the two 8ohm speakers in series -- (I am going to use red/black for +/- on the speakers)
amp -> speaker1 red through speaker to speaker1 black then speaker2 red through speaker to speaker2 black then back to amp.
