Speakers wont upmix audio

I'm using a M5A99FX Pro R2, and Logitech Z506, the rear speakers work for 5.1 but it wont upmix. My motherboard comes with DTS Connect, but I have never found DTS Interactive in the realtek audio manager.

EG. Playing from netflix has no audio from back 2 speakers

I'm not sure, but i doubt Netflix streams 5.1 sound.
You could get your computer to upmix the audio, but your sound system is supposed to be able to do that itself.
Try unplugging the inputs from the back of the subwoofer, leave only the red and white RCA plugged in (Left and Right channels). See if it that does anything.

THIS WORKS WHY THOUGH. wtf also when i do this it kills my surround sound functionality just works for music. How can i fix this?

*EDIT I turned off surround sound and now they work, but very quietly when i turn on generic room or modify room enviroment in any way they start playing through the rear. How can I fix this so it play regularly and louder for music but normal for games.

It works because it detects that only two channels are plugged in, and so it knows it has to upmix. When all 6 inputs are plugged in, it assumes it's receiving 5.1 audio, and so it doesn't upmix.
Some systems have a switch that you can change manually, unfortunately, you don't have one. When you need true 5.1, you'll have to plug the cables back in; when you want an upmix, you'll have to unplug them.
Either that or find software that will upmix the audio on the computer, but i have no experience with that so i have no recommendations.

I fixed it, windows had surround sound turned on in full audio and after disabling it apparently there's a problem with how it decodes audio or something so it screws with the back speakers. Now audio plays from the back, its just a bit to quiet for my taste, what can i do to make it play louder? I can manualy increase it using windows sound manager but then i have to reset it when i play games because the rear speakers are to loud, I only need it ajusted for music! What can i do? Thanks for helping btw
