Spilled water on your laptop? Here’s how to fix it

Laptop is compact personal computer and very important because it can store and save your data, information, images, videos, files, and more. It needs more care than a desktop computer. Sometimes laptops can encounter problems. Laptop problems are one such issue that we don’t struggle to work hard to resolve. Assuming you are no longer under warranty, it creates a difficult decision of whether to replace the laptop or fix it.

• Unplug your laptop and remove the battery immediately
• Don’t put the battery back on!
• Remove any detachable components
• Clean your keyboard with extreme care
• Hand-dry your laptop of any sitting liquid.
• Clean your entire laptop carefully with rubbing alcohol
• Carefully clean your screen.
• Let your laptop sit and dry for a minimum of 24 hours

Another good drying medium is uncooked rice. Sprinkle it all over the affected parts and it will absorb the moisture quite effectively.
