Hello all,

First question here and I couldn't find an answer comparable to what I was curious about so I thought I'd ask the experts.

I want to split audio from my Xbox Series X into my Onkyo receiver while sending the video to my TV instead of going through the receiver for video. My receiver doesn't pass 120hz video but my TV accepts it so I was wanting to take advantage of the 120hz games from my game system into my TV while also being able to enjoy nice surround, Atmos, etc. sound on my receiver.

Is this possible? If so, does anyone have any suggestions on how this would be done. I've seen HDMI splitters on various sites but I'm not sure I get how they function as far as splitting audio and video.

Much thanks. Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks helpstar. I appreciate it. Yeah, I looked at the Arcana but as you say I don't think it passes 4k at 120. I'll probably just wait until 4k receivers can that pass 120hz become more available at a more affordable price.
