Spybot 1.4 Integrated Updater Question

I just installed Spybot 1.4 for Win XP but I'm having trouble connecting to an update server; I keep getting a "connection time out" error. Is anyone else having/had this problem and can offer any solutions? Thanks.

i believe yuo can download the update off the internet then install it locally.
