SSD won't boot Windows

Hello,

Ive had windows on my hard drive and i had an extra SSD that I've been wanting to put Windows on.

I have a copy of windows on a USB Drive that i installed on the SSD, but when i go back into the BIOS menu to reroute the boot order it completely ignores the SSD and goes to the next Boot.

Any help would be appreciated.

It only passes that device because it doesn't contain a bootable setup. How did you make the jump from the USB drive to the SSD? Rufus is the best utility for that job, in my opinion.

I did not use a program with the installation,i simply plug and installed. How do you suggest i go about using Rufus?

Here's a link to a webpage explaining it and including a download button. It turns your memory stick into a bootable device to start any ISO you can download from Microsoft's website.

I've never known it to fail so I'm certain it wil fix your lack of an OS.
