Steelseries Arctis 5 7.1 surround sound problem

Can someone please help ! I just bought the Steelseries Arctis 5 for my playstation and i’m not getting the 7.1 surround sound ... I know that it “only” works on PC - but is there any other way to make the sound better on console ?
-Also do i need to get a DAC/ Amp for the headset for it to work ?

You need a different headset for the PS4 if you want surround sound.
