Question Steelseries Arctis 5 is distorted and loud through USB

Brand new headset, USB worked for about 5 hours before doing this out of nowhere. I have restrted my PC and tried updating drivers.

I would much rather be able to find a soloution than buy a replacement, and help would be great

This exact problem is now starting for me. I contacted Steelseries and was given instructions on how to uninstall Steelseries Engine and update my drivers but nothing worked. Were you able to find a solution?
