Stereo Recording From Line-In

Hello. I want to record stereo audio but I can't afford a stereo microphone. Can I use a converter (to plug two microphones in it) and if I plug it into Line-In (blue) jack will it record stereo? (Or normal microphone jack even)

That will let you put one mic on the left, and the other on the right. You might need another adapter to convert the mic to the smaller size as well.

Isn't it 3.5mm male to 3.5mm female?
