straight talk service

im looking into getting a new phone with straight talk as ive had their service for over a year and love it. however a friend got his phone offline since their were more phones to choose from and he has poor service/reception....how do i make sure if i get one offline that it will work in my area?

What do you mean by "offline"? ONline maybe? Just check with Straight Talk if the phone you want is compatible, there should be a section on their web site that lists compatible phones even if you don't get them from WalMart.
