When checking mail from the cradle with my Axim-3 I get a window as
follows:

Server Name: Null

Port: 3268

User Name: Null

this usually pops up two or three times then mail checks without any
problems.

what is it and how can I get rid of it?

Thanks,

Ham

Is this showing up on the desktop or the Pocket PC? Are you checking
mail from the Axim or via Outlook on the desktop PC? Which version of
Windows are you using, and are you using any firewall software?

Edition

Hamand Zone Alarm Pro is running and I use a Link Sys Firewall Router
and Cable Modem.

I wonder if Zone Alarm isn't causing the message? It sounds like a
message Zone Alarm may pop up.

I'm getting the same message when I sync my HP 4155.
I'm using a Netgear broadband router, with Norton internet security.

If it's the same port, then Port 3268 is used by Active Directory LDAP
services (ie connecting to a Windows 2000/2003 Domain).
