Hey, I have a Gigabyte P35x V6 laptop (i7-6700HQ) and for the last week it's been stuck in the bios (which here appears to be Aptio setup utility Vers 2.18.1256). Neither the bootdrive (a 250gb NVMe PCIe Transcend SSD), nor the recovery media usb that I stuck in, appear in the Boot menu. I bought a new ssd, thinking the old one was damaged/corrupted, but there appears to be no difference (new drive is a 1tb 970 evo NVMe). I can see that the NVMe drive is connected by going through the bios to Advanced>NVMe Configuration, but it never appears in the boot menu. Is this a faulty motherboard issue?? Could someone please help me here, I would appreciate any advice on how to get this laptop working again. Thank you!

Edit: there's no Launch CSM option to be found in the bios at all.

For future reference: It appears the problem was the original bootdrive. My mistake was trying to boot the machine from the recovery media, instead of from the installation media. I used a bootable usb (made using the Windows 10 installation media - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10?_ga=2.185936491.378410073.1533758054-1061335622.1533606904) to install windows on the new drive. Silly mistake! :p
