My ASUS UX305 gets stuck in BIOS (all of a sudden this morning) and internal SSD is not detected. I tried almost all the solutions from the internet like disabling fast boot, enabling CSM, etc. I ran live Ubuntu from USB and checked for the ssd but it showed no drive except the live USB drive.
Any suggestions please!

Solution
Hopefully you will have a hatch on the base of the laptop with a three disk icon and under which lies the drive. Unscrew that hatch and touch the drive gently - if it's warm chances are it is receiving power so it may have failed. If it's cold, push it gently further into the connectors and it may start.

I think the best bet is to take that drive out and slave it to another machine. run Checkdisk in there using the /r switch to find and fix disk errors. The syntax will therefore be
chkdsk x: /r
where x is whichever drive letter the other PC assigns to that disk.

It's a standard connection that will fit any normal SATA to USB converter. I can't think it's any different to all the other SSDs.
