Subtitle creator program?

Easiest way that I would do it is to use VLC's built-in subtitle software. Create the file and make sure the times are synced. Run it on VLC and record it.

I've tried other software, but they're just as annoying, or even more annoying, to get the times just right.

think i worded it wrong but im looking for something that will translate from the audio. i see that subtitle edit has a translator but does it do it from the audio of the blu ray?? im not to tech savvy sorry

Oh. As far as i know, no. Speech to text is a pretty complicated thing to do.

It's a database of subtitles, as long as yours isn't too obscure it should be there.
