Suggestions: 13.3-14" (For school, streaming videos, and interwebz)

Hello Tom's,

I need suggestions on a smaller sized laptop for school. 13-14 inches.

I will use it for netflix, multiple tabs of internet open, and I want to be able to HDMI it to a screen if needed.

Requirements: No thick laptops, under $400. Thin and sleek preferred.

Anything come to mind?

The best option is a chromebook. They are more than enough for you. I think the hp stream is a good laptop. If you want windows, you could look into the lenovo thinkpad series. They should have something for you.

I was wondering if it would be a good fit for me, those chromebooks...

I'm just worried that I'll need windows for something. Will I have word? excel? I know you can use google's version of those, but I'll need those specifically. what about steam? League of legends? not able to play on chromebook?

I did some research and found that "office online" exists. And that chromebooks can also dual boot linux. So gg google chromebooks.

I guess i'll just do "best google chromebooks under 400" search. thanks bud.
