Super woofer and speakers that I want to turn into AUX output for my Laptop/Phone etc.

I have this sorta old home theater system that consists of a super woofer and 5 speakers that have a positive and negative outputs and I want to turn them into an AUX so that I can use them with my devices, my questions are how do I do this and would they work just like that or would they need to have an external power source?

You need a multi-channel amplifier and surround sound decoder. These speakers and woofer were from some integrated surround sound system. You need the equivalent of the controller that used to be in the middle.

All the standard manufacturers, Sony, Denon, Yamaha, Pioneer, etc. -- Put "5.1 receiver" into Amazon and you will see hundreds. Narrow down your pick and I will look at the candidates....
