Surface Book vs. Surface Pro 4 (Graphic Design)

Looking to purchase a new laptop for school and graphic design, and I can't decide between the Surface Pro 4 or the Surface Book. I'd like to keep the price down as much as possible, but if I do need the Surface Book I can deal with the price --- If I was to go with the Surface book, would the i7 and dGPU be necessary for basic Graphic Design, School and Web Browsing, or would the i5 suffice. Can I pull those tasks off with a Surface Pro 4? Do they plan on releasing a new Surface soon (Should I just wait)?

The new surface line up will be out next year (2017) as an owner of a surface pro 4 I will suggest you go with the surface book although both devices are powerful enough to handle heavy workloads the surface book which is more powerful won't give that GUI problem with some of the programs. we have some very small icons and text that are hard to work with because of the screen high Dpi and even changing the resolution to lower settings don't really seem to help much.

I would get the surface book as it is geared more towards people that need more power than the surface pro as they are too small to fit a dgpu.

I would suggest you get a Surfacebook on the grounds that like the others have said they are truly great and work proficiently and have a decent battery lifetime. I utilize a Surface Pro 4 and discover them simple and great to utilize. I have also surface book charger.
