Solved! Surface Pro 4 or Surface Pro 2017?

Like the title suggests I am deciding on picking up a surface pro, but by looking at reviews I am unsure of which one to pick up. They seem pretty similar and the new Surface Pro 2017 doesn’t come with a stylus or type cover or usb-c so I was hoping someone can persuade me either way. Price is not a big issue as I can afford both, but I don’t want to spend extra for the newer if it’s not necessary since I can put the difference towards a 1080 ti for my pc.

They’re being sold as bundle across a couple sites at 100-200 dollars cheaper than the comparable 2017 version

Then the older Pro 4 is easily the better choice since there's not really any big difference between the devices.

The Surface Pro came with the pen but not the type cover. The Surface Pro 2017 comes with neither. I looked at the 2017 version as a possible upgrade. The main differences are a larger/longer life battery and a newer/faster processor; neither of which induces me to make the jump.

The lower prices and bundles make the Surface Pro a good buy.
