Hello to all
I have a HP pavilion 15 gaming laptop and I am facing a very weird problem. My laptop freezes for a 1-3 secs randomly all the time. The laptop comes with 2 hdds, one SSD where OS is installed and with one mechanical 2.5 hdd. I am running under Windows 10 professional with 8 gigs of Ram installed. I have run Sentinel' s hdd checks just to be sure that the problem doesn't occur from a dying disk. The disks are fine. I have run various ram checks and everything seems to be ok. I don't know what the he'll is going wrong. I have made many formats just to be sure that the problem is not coming from an inappropriate gpu driver installation. Any ideas?
Thanx in advance

Hello,

I would recommend you to do a stress test with Prime95/OCCT and check your temps first with HWMonitor or similar. You can also do a GPU test with furmark. I also have a question, does the problem occurs while your PC is plugged on sector? Happened once with one of my friend PC where broken power cord was causing exactly the same thing you are describing (btw change your power setting to max performance if you didn't)
Awaiting for results.

Cheers.

Hello Endless8

Thank you very much for your quick reply. My laptop has two gpu's. One on board Intel 530 and one for Nvidia GTX 950m. The first one is the one that runs Windows UI. I am using the second one for rendering videos in adobe premiere or for playing video games. I am facing the problem that i mentioned before in Power Plugged Mode and Battery Mode randomly. I ll come back after the advised stress tests of yours. I ll let you know my results .

Again many thanxes for your response
