System restore and emails

Hello,

I merged my outlook emails from my broken laptop's hard drive with those on my PC. Unfortunately it took me over the 2GB limit for Outlook 2000 (oops) which no longer works. Will a system restore to a point prior to the merge revert Outlook to the pre-merged state?
