T520 Hard boot fine. Soft boot/Reboot doesn't recognize the hard drive.

As the title indicates. If I power up(hard boot) my T520 laptop, it boots to the SSD just fine. Any time I restart the laptop, it doesn't recognize the SSD and can't find it. If I then turn it off and hard boot again, I have no problem going straight into Windows.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

do you still have the original 500gb hard drive to switch with the ssd to see if same happens to the hard drive as happens to the ssd?
