Hi my name is ted i have been having problem burning a recordable cd in my tascam 2488mk2. i followed the instruction in my manuel and it keeps eluding me either to setting the in, out, to and from points, or inserting marks, or pre-master. it keeps taking me in circle . how can i burn a autable cd to play in my car or otherwise?

The CD recorders I have (Sony and Philips models) use the Pause Control to create breaks between tracks.

Most of my musician friends have stopped using CD recorders for their work because they are unreliable and the blank discs for them are 5 times the price of computer discs. They have switched to using PC music programs and the CD/DVD burners in the computer to create discs.
