TBS HD useless

Does TBS broadcast even a single show or movie in Hidef? This HD channel is
taking up one of the slots in my Comcast Atlanta cable's HD lineup.

I hate the Braves! What puzzles me is the movies TBS shows has already been
shown on HD on paycable . I know because I saw them in HD. If they ahve the
ability to transmit in HD, why not transmit movies where the transfers exist
in HD? Why not show TNT HD or Encore HD or
the NFL NEtwork in HD. NFL Network looks great in SD, would love to see an
HD Version.

They probably have a contractural obligation to carry WTBS HD. Here in Los
Angeles they just recently had to add WB HD for these reasons (when there
were better alternatives).

If you're talking about KTLA-HD then there's a difference as channel 5 runs
HD in addition to the ample amount supplied by the WB.

For all you whiners like oscar. that seem to be clueless to the fact
that there is a digital transition going on here. The channel is local
digital WTBS that Comcast has put on their system as they have
WSB and other digital locals. It does not mean that you will be
getting more HD just that it is a digital local which you should be
thankful they now carry. It looks better than channel 7 analog does it
not!
Consider yourself lucky that you also have a channel like 755 even if
you "Hate" the Braves or not. You may want to consider this you whinny
little spoiled bastards, we could have 3 channels off air and ghosty
like we did not all that long ago really.The fact that you want it all
right this minute and whine like little babys about this and that
minor nonsense like you do shows you need to get a life! If you feel
that you really have to have TNT HD right this minute go get a Dish
network system and sub to the HD pack until then quit whining. And if
you can't do that tuff!
