Question about playing movies via USB on tv with home cinema and sound

Hi ,
I have a Philips 43PUS6262/12 TV and i use a Logitech Speaker System Z313 which you know is not very good...I have been playing movies via a USB hard drive connected to TV and i want to buy a home cinema specifically the LG LHB625.
My question is if i buy that home cinema will i be able to play movies via USB Hard Drive and will i get the same sound ( of a movie with 5.1 DTS-HD or Dolby TruHD or in general with that encoding) as if I'd use a DVD Bluray ??

It´s possible if the USB device is connected to the LG and the movies provide the supported video files, audio formats of the LG (can be found in the manual)

You will not be able to get the same sound from your files as you can from discs with that system.
TVs will not pass lossless audio like Dolby TrueHD only regular Bitstream Dolby Digital and DTS. You would need to connect a device that can play the files directly to a HTS with HDMI.
The LG HTS you mention doesn't have an HDMI input so you can only get TrueHD from discs.
