TCL 55s401 won't activate Mass Effect: Andromeda HDR10

I've got Mass Effect Andromeda to turn HDR on, but my television won't activate HDR, and the result is a greyed out image. Is there a way around this?

Mass Effect Andromeda doesn't turn HDR on, you have to enable HDR yourself in the TV's setup menu.
That's assuming your TV and other hardware even supports HDR.
