They are being executed? Broadcasted live on the internet?

Sounds fair... hard but fair...

It's possible this guy had Aspergers (high functioning autism). Combine that with living in a country where you can't talk about everything freely, and where you can be punished severely, then there would be no wonder someone with Aspergers would get addicted to the Internet.

In America, instead of sending their kids to get threated, parents would just sue the ISP for offering internet in the first place.

Western media & government is just as biased as any in communist countries. Chinese government bad, Chinese separatists good. Spanish government good, ETA bad. Britain good, real IRA bad. Indonesia bad, but Australia taking over half of East Timor's resources when it formed a country is good. Saudi Arabia producing terrorist don't matter, Saudi sell US oil good. Iraq does shit all bad, Iraq oil going to America good. Taliban as a rebel group, good, once formed government bad.

Perhaps its me but death might be damaging to ones health ; I'm not sure their mission succeeded! I wonder how such news even got allowed to surface in a place like china though!

The kid must have done some terrible to provoke such stupid reactions from adults. The boot camp is set to make profit, not to practice trainers' kung fung skills.

I would have believed it if they said it happened in the States also.

No offense intended, but people can be brutal anywhere, and to state that this is typical of China or any other country is not only demeaning, but also just plain wrong.

Every country has killers, rapists, small time criminals and big time gangsters. The difference is that in some countries they are simply well hidden and covered by a legion of lawyers.

Not to mention the fact that the only reason people base their opinions on stereotypical statements such as Americans are stupid, the Chinese and Koreans are cruel and the Japanese are smart etc. is because this is what people read or hear in the media.

Do not judge... Leave judgment to the higher authority.

Try to make up your own mind based on facts rather than media exposure or fiction and try not to generalize people.

You reap what you sow.

And I prefer to sow love and respect instead of hatred.

My two cents,

Mike

[citation][nom]azxcvbnm321[/nom]Now you know why there is so little violent crime (like robberies, rape) in China and very low rates of repeat criminal activity. This was only a boot camp for children, imagine what Chinese jail is like. No one who survives jail in China wants to go back and so they stop their criminal behavior.I'm in favor of Chinese style prisons where prisoners are told they are a scourge to society and they should take it as a blessing if they are allowed to rejoin society (that is survive). There aren't any TVs, books, or entertainment. Prisoners have to work and also have to write an essay every day (at least in the past for political prisoners) on why they were wrong to do what they did and how they are reformed now. The then go into a room where a several people hear the prisoner recite his essay. The "rehabilitators" then shout at the prisoner accusing him of BS and insincerity. He is then led back to his cell and told to think about what was shouted and write another essay tomorrow, this time with sincerity. The thing is that this actually works. When a person is forced to write and "pretend" to believe in something (what he did was wrong), eventually he WILL believe it given enough time. We should force our prisoners to write daily essays too.[/citation]

Slightly off topic, but I'll bite.
This is all very well, but when people are put into jail for, say, having a political opinion that differs from the government, you have to question whether this is such a good system.

How about the parents stop their kids spending all their time on the internet?
Then no-one needs to be sent to jail or beaten to death over something which, if we're honest, is not a particularly big deal.

I wonder what these same medical experts say about being beat to death? The poor child should have never been in a camp. Internet addiction is a load of crap. The societal norm in china is the addiction. If your not used to dealing with china way of life on a daily basic you die. Deng Senshan died because he wasn't addicted to society norms in china. Signs of not being addicted to china's way of life includes irritation.

If china doesn't learn to deal with the term slacker and imperfect work force, Foxconned, then the next decade I predict a mass genocide.

I saw a show once where people in china(Not all of them I realize that) take cats (Alive) put them in boiling out water and rip the skin off the body.LOL that's there version of normal. Now imagine what they'd do if they did like you.I would not want to go to China for a holiday I can assure you of that.

Lol, China a 3rd world country... China is NOT a 3rd world country, yes, they have parts of the country that are third world, but that is no different than America... America has Republicans and trailer trash and Nascar, that's basically third world... What, no?
