I'm using Piriform Speecy to monitor my temps. But there's a difference between what Speecy shows and what the bios shows. What's the best app(program) to monitor temps. without having to enter the bios? MB, MSI 970 Gaming with a AMD 8350 @ 4.1GHz. Using all 8 cores.

Nope that's not good, means the CPU is hotter then it should be and downclocking should help.

I think so, I haven't used it in a couple of years but since it's free software directly from AMD so there's no reason not to try it.

Downloaded AMD overdrive but can't get a clear temp. reading. It does show a "thermal margin of -8. I asume that's not good, so I'm going to downclock the cpu to 3.8. I think that would do it. BTW, I'm using a Deep Cool Captain 120 EX for cooling. Thank you all.
