the fiber optic cable connected to the TV and to the Bose 321 system

I have tried connecting the digital converter to the TV and nothing happens and I also connected the fiber optic cable directly to the TV and the Bose. no sound either way.

Do you have the manuals for the TV (Make & Model) and Bose 321?
