The files copied from PC to tablet become read only

i have samsung tab 2007. while I copy word files and excel files from PC to tab, they become read only. There are a lot of files to be copied to tab

Sounds like they are doing that because there isn't anything on the tablet that they can be altered with. You should, however, be able to change them on the computer before you move them over to the tablet. Just make sure to set and save them as not read only. Just moving them to the other device won't change this setting, unless, as I said above, there is no program/app on it that can access and alter them on the tablet.
