It's good people are still thinking retroactively. Because one day we might(as in humans on planet earth) get hit with some big phenomenon that renders our present technology useless/extinct and we'll be forced to communicate verbally in-person.

When that happens the most comm tech we'll have access too are make-shift cup-and-string radios, HAM radios and if we're lucky 240bps baud modems.

*cringes at the thought*

Great idea, though my fiancée will hate you for this. Now they just need to start selling it. Or I could just cheap out and buy some plain white paper and a black marker.
