The screen on my HP2000 2B58 is cracked. I've tried connecting it to a monitor via vga and to the TV through hdmi but neither

Please help me figure out how to use an external screen.

The top row of keys on your keyboard (F1-F12) are known as the function keys. One of them should have an icon on it that looks like 2 monitors. Hold down the Fn key (in the bottom row) and press the function key with the 2 monitors on it. Repeated pressings should garner some results.

if 1shado1's fix doesnt work you can try the window button + P key combination to tell it to duplicate your screen 😀, there are a couple different options when you press windows + P so you may need to push it a few times until you hit the correct one
