The Sansa Clip+ is superior in just about every way, and only marginally larger in one dimension. Cheaper (2G version $30), runs rockbox, good sound quality, etc... You would only buy this if you didn't know there were better products around. Speaking of that, maybe Apple should buy this company. Zing!

I've seen one almost identical to this a few years ago. Things have moved on since then, this probably is not the smallest MP3 player.

Two words....Sansa Clip. Only slightly larger than an iPod Shuffle but with a screen, 4GB retails @$50 w/MicroSD expansion. You can even find the 8GB version on Amazon right now for $55 (which also has the MicroSD expansion). It also has an FM Tuner (for better or worse depending on reception - my local stations come in just fine), 15hr battery life with reasonable charge time (I think I read 2hrs). Playlist support, voice recorder (not that I ever use that feature).

The bottom line, for $15 more, you get a far more functional device that already has a clip on it. Put them together with the Sennheiser CXL series headphones (lanyard style ear-cannal) and you have a very portable music library that hangs from your neck and can be tucked under your shirt when you're being more active without having to worry about cramming your headphones or your music player in your pocket.
