Thermal paste under the red thingy(ASUS K53SV)

Hi, guys
I need help..
Last time I used too much thermal paste on my laptop CPU and GPU..
So now it's all over and under it...
What's on top I can clean but what is under that red stuff I can't
The red thingy over the GPU is what I am talking about and that red thing is on the CPU too
so on both CPU and GPU there is thermal paste under it..

Pleas help me.

Have you tryed using a q tip and swabbing the area with alcohol let dry then take compressed air Or I like to use my air compressor and blow the rest out got to be careful and gentle thos hope this helps.

Oh I tried but I can't put this under the red thing..
I don't know what the red thing is but I think the CPU does not ship with it..

The laptop is running fine it's just that I am worried about that paste under the red thing and what is the red thing?
it's like glued to the CPU

To me it looks like a heat sink the the actual heatsink set on it if your pc is working fine then no worries it may be part of your gpu your vid card so I woulsnt mess with it.
If it aint broke dont fix it old saying.
