Is there a way to make an app that would save enough battery juice in your phone to call a certain secret number to retrieve your phone before your battery is completely dead

And how does the app know the phone has been stolen? Whats prevent it from being uninstalled? Factory restored?

You could probably make something that calls a number if the battery power drops below 5%.

Of course, this app running all the time to monitor the battery level consumes battery power.
So, you shorten the usable battery power...

And if you only have the one phone...who is it going to call, and why?
