Hi,
I recently tested the Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 1st gen keyboard from the store. She felt fantastic. But I decided to buy a third generation. I was expecting a similar keyboard. But I was very disappointed. The keyboard was much worse with this generation. She was not so booming. I read something about the fact that three different manufacturers make keyboards for Thinkpads. Is it true ? And if so, can I find out what kind of keyboard I have? And would it be exchanged for better in the future?

thanks for the answers and I am sorry for my English.

You are correct, there were actually reviews done for this model where someone bought it for the keyboard feel and theirs did not have the same feel.

You can check the keyboard model on the keyboard itself or possibly with Lenovo support where they have a list of all the keyboard part numbers.
