Thoughts on this laptop for a college student

I already have a gaming desktop, so I was just looking for a laptop that i will be taking to classes and other places to work on. I will most likely be using just Microsoft office software.

I can tell you from personal experience that lugging around a 17.3" laptop in college was terrible, way too big and heavy to be convenient. I would look for a 14" or smaller.

That was my only concern, the specs are good enough for what i need correct?

Yeah, the processor is fine and there's enough memory for basic productivity tasks. However the lack of an SSD is unfortunate, as those are definitely nice to have.
