Toshiba A105 when turned on fan runs but wont load

My toshiba A105 after being plugged in you hear the fan then it stops and wont load

Usually this ends up being a bad motherboard, but you can try reseating the RAM, holding in the power button for 30 seconds with the power and battery removed, see if any of that helps.
