Toshiba A305 S6872 no sound

i have a toshiba notebook and it has no sound even after resetting to the factory settings and total recovery.

Prior to and after the restore, did you attempt to download the sound drivers from Toshiba's support site? If not, give that a go and see if that gets it going.

Hi,

IT was all running smooth and one day there was some disturbance in the sound while using sound recorder as i was recording by using the input jack to stream the audio for sound recorder.

As the recording was over i found that there is nothing recorded but just some garbage ( i made sure that the inbuilt mic is disable) since then i have tried all with drivers and then gave to Total recovery.

Still its same - tried with ubuntu live CD still no sound.
