Toshiba C55-B5287 won't turn on

Whenever I press the power button, it will light up solid for a few seconds, and then go dark. The indicator on the front is white, indicating it's charged, and the charger works.

Any ideas on this? Thanks.

Try resetting the laptop by unplugging the adapter then removing the battery. With adapter unplugged and battery removed, press and hold the power button for ~30 seconds. Put the battery back in, plug adapter back in, try again.
